Gartcosh Junction and box in a view to the east. The Hayhill branch to Garnqueen North Junction curves off to the left and ahead is the route to Gartsherrie and Coatbridge. Taken on 31 August 1985 from a railtour from Edinburgh to Dumfries hauled by 44767 and diesel pilot 37188.
