Looking out from the east end of Waverley towards the Calton Tunnels on 24 March 2017. Stabled in the short bays are sleeper locomotives 67021 and 92044 Couperin, while approaching on the right is the 0603 CrossCountry Birmingham New Street - Glasgow Central. The latter has been routed into platform 8E beyond the south wall.
