Carlisle
Having run round the train, D9009 is now at the head of UK Railtours return excursion to London Kings Cross, waiting to depart from Carlisle station on 3rd October 2015. The outward trip was via the Settle & Carlisle Line, the return trip via the Tyne Valley Line with D9009 hauling the train as far as Doncaster.
