Sessay

Whilst there is nothing remaining of the former station at Sessay, there is still a fair amount of infrastructure to be seen at the site of the station and goods yard. The station house is still extant in residential use, and with what appear to be new roof tiles installed in more recent time. To the left of the house can be seen a curved loading bank, that on some maps appears to have been double sided. The end nearest the entrance is ramped to ground level to possibly allow vehicles to run along it for loading and unloading operations.
