York Road

The entrance to the former LUL Piccadilly Line station at York Road, closed in 1932, with the name still engraved on the walls on 29th June 2013. Below ground, the site of the platforms can be made out by the gap in the tunnel wall about midway between King's Cross St. Pancras and Caledonian Road stations, although hundreds of passengers will pass by each day without realising they are speeding past one of London Underground's ghost stations.
