Angel Road

Blink and you'll miss it. The unobtrusive 'entrance' to Angel Road station on the Lea Valley Line in north London takes some finding as there are no directions to it whatsoever from surrounding streets and it was only by sheer perseverance that I found it. I did ask a gentleman if he knew the way but he looked at me as if I was speaking Swahili so he was no use. And even when you've found this entrance, there are tons of steep steps to go down and then a walk alongside the line for several hundred yards until you reach the station itself. No wonder its been London's least-used station for many years but its all set to end on 19th May 2019 when the station is closed and replaced by the new Meridian Water station, just to the south, assuming there are no delays a la Crossrail. This view is on 29th March 2019.
