Penistone
Many changes have taken place around Penistone Station and surrounding railway environs, as seen in the attached view looking east along the old Sheffield bound platform for the former Manchester to Sheffield and Wath via Woodhead Tunnel electrified main line. Trees have been removed from the trackbed and island platform in recent time See image 49623 for the comparable view 4 years earlier.
