Polmadie Signal Box

The 10am Glasgow Central-London 'The Royal Scot' being hauled by 10202 and 10201 passing Polmadie on the 27th of April 1957. Although a grainy image Dixons Blazes' coke ovens can still be observed. Polmadie bridge was a favourite gathering point for many Glasgow youngsters in those earlier years. (Photo taken by Graham Ewing and permission given to submit.)
