Looking west from the platform 1 passenger access ramp at Caldercruix in May 2014. A 6-car 334 EMU combination, led by an SPT liveried set, is passing through. The 1119 Edinburgh Waverley – Helensburgh Central runs non-stop between Bathgate and Drumgelloch, this being the longest non-stop section (just over 12 miles) undertaken by trains on this route. The 67 mile journey between Waverley and Helensburgh Central links a total of 38 stations.
