Downpatrick

Downpatrick East signal cabin, Downpatrick station, Downpatrick & County Down Railway, Northern Ireland, on 28th July 2018. Downpatrick bus station can just be glimpsed in the right background. The town's residents have had to make do with just a bus service to and from Belfast, ever since the main line of the former Belfast & County Down Railway was closed on 16th January 1950. However, the branch to Bangor is still open for Belfast commuter trains.
