Bothlin Viaduct

View of the north side of the Bothlin Viaduct looking east. The second arch carried the Monkland and Kirkintilloch Railway and was skewed, unlike the rest of the viaduct, and had additional buttressing on either side. It now carries the A806 below. Off to the left was the short lived Woodley station from which a horse operated passenger service connected with the E&G and ran to Kirkintilloch Basin.
