Berneray Slipway

Calmac's Sound of Harris Ferry, the specially designed MV Loch Portain, loading at the Berneray slipway on 31st July 2018. The elevated lounge, and the outside seats that provide such a good view, can be seen. To the left of the lamp posts the first of the numerous buoys that the vessel has to follow to negotiate the complicated route to Leverburgh can just be seen. Perhaps Calmac should be promoting this really interesting crossing in the same way that scenic railways are marketed?
