HMS Quebec
A short section of narrow gauge track from a military railway remains in situ in a minor road near Inveraray on 31st May 2018. This is the site of HMS Quebec, No. 1 Combined Training Centre, Inveraray where around 250,000 service personnel from the Allied Nations passed through between 1940 to 1944. Up to 15,000 personnel were billeted in the area at any one time.
