Lostock Hall
Fifty years after the end of steam these are the remains of Lostock Hall loco shed (10D), viewed south west from Watkin Lane on 07 August 2018. The site has been overgrown for many years but recently cleared in preparation for a new use, caravan storage. The outline of the shed buildings and pits are exposed for the moment but it is expected that the whole area will be levelled, surfaced and not just cleared of vegetation.
