Niddrie West Junction
While the up line at Niddrie West remains closed, works activity appears to be nearing completion, with the site now tidied up, previous excavations infilled and only a small section still awaiting replacement track see image 64285. The area is seen here on Sunday 1 July 2018 with Freightliner 66523 creeping past in the shadows on the down line with train 602N, the 1001 Millerhill SS - Linlithgow.
