Bamber Bridge
Having missed the outward journey of the SSE in the morning (by less than a minute), I had to make do with an evening shot of the tour returning west on 21 June 2018. To add to the disappointment the tour had been scheduled for a pair of Class 33s but a problem with one of the locos resulted in a late substitution of a Class 37. Of course the Class 33 was on the front on the outward trip so I missed out on it leading as well. At least it was mid summer's day so there was just enough light to photograph as the train passed at 2135 hrs.
