Standedge Tunnel
A view north over the north eastern (Marsden) portal of the railway Standedge Tunnel which shows the work to raise or renew the Tunnel End Reservoir feeder aqueduct over the line in preparation for electrification. The aqueduct is blocked off and there are two pumps pumping the water down those hoses on the scaffold frame. A TPExpress is about to enter the tunnel.
