Kirkcaldy Harbour

Road entrance to Kirkcaldy harbour on a quiet Sunday morning in the summer of 2007, more than 23 years after the line from Harbour Branch Junction had been officially closed. On the right is part of Carr's flour mill, with the company transport compound on the left. The pipes crossing the road above the plate girder bridge in the background link the building on the right with mill premises on the west side of the A921 see image 17545. The bridge itself once carried the line out onto the east pier.
