Darlington Shed
Death row. Withdrawn steam locomotives in a holding siding alongside Darlington shed in May 1960, pending transfer to the nearby works scapyard. Those awaiting their fate include A8 Pacific tank 69858, recently arrived from Sunderland South Dock and cut up a few days later.
