Dunblane Junction

It’s coming! It’s in the trees! The red-eyed demonic presence hiding in the bushes is actually a DMU (156 433) which has gone “on safari” up the last remaining section of the Dunblane, Doune and Callander railway at Dunblane in October 1998. Presumably, the unit had been misbehaving and this overgrown and rarely used spur was the only place it could be shunted out of the way. [Ref query 8 March 2018]
