Kelvin Viaduct

Under the Kelvin Viaduct looking west towards Partick in 2000. Another railway bridge passed underneath this one, coming from the right hand side (where Partick Central was located) to give the Caledonian access to the Pointhouse Shipyard and the warehouses along the Clyde. The scrapyard seen opposite is long gone, this had been an iron foundry and, much longer ago, the site of Partick Castle. Thus Castlebank Street ...
