Double headed Class 20s, with 20123 leading, passing Uddingston Junction in the 1970s with iron ore empties from Ravenscraig Steel Works heading for General Terminus Quay via Strathbungo Junction. One or two further Class 20s would join the train at Strathbungo for the final part of the journey to the quay. [Ref query 10 January 2017]
