Cathcart West Junction

The 'N' on the toy signal at the south end of Cathcart station indicates
thet the road is set for a Neilston train - which is just as well. Coming
in from the left is the Newton line, used by trains which are going via
Maxwell Park and therefore (just) avoiding Cathcart. So close and yet no
platforms (nor have there ever been, so far as I know). Alternate Newton
Trains go via Queens Park and take the North Junction, well clear of the
station.
