Layton
The rebuilt Crossleys Bridge at Layton station has reopened to road traffic but it will be late March 2018 before trains are regularly passing underneath it again. This photo taken on 21st November 2017 shows the Carleton Crossing distant still standing defiantly, although the signal box was being dismantled. See image 55384 showing the old bridge before demolition.
