Drei Annen Hohne
HSB 99 236 at Drei Annen Hohne with the 14:15 train to Brocken on 18 September 2017. This locomotive is one of the batch of 17 New Steam Engines built in the 1950s for use on the 1000 mm gauge system in the Harz Mountains. When converted to oil-burning in the 1970s, it carried the number 99 0236. When restored to coal-burning in the 1980s it carried the number 99 7236-5 but now just sports 99 236!
