Kilmaurs
156439 leads a 4-car 156 for Kilmarnock at Kilmaurs on 19 September 2017. Kilmaurs is the only single track station on the Glasgow - Dumfries - Carlisle line. You do feel that in the 1960s and 1970s they singled the wrong bits of the G&SW line, though I suppose coal traffic south of Kilmarnock was then a consideration.
