Edinburgh Waverley
An unusual vantage point at Waverley in August 2006, courtesy of the temporary bridge over platform 19 which provided a route between the station and Princes Mall. View is east showing work in progress on what would become the upgraded entrance from Waverley Steps, linking with the new escalators still to be installed on the western concourse. Running beyond the new bridge is the connection with the cross-station walkway leading to the south side platforms and the Market Street entrance. Up above is part of the justification for the subsequent roof panel replacement project see image 36223.
