Blackpool North
A view north-eastwards from behind the station building at Blackpool North. Electrification preparation work is well underway with the closure and demolition of platforms 1, 2 (right of station), 7 and 8 (left of the building). Along the line from Preston several OHL stanchions have been erected and at Kirkham work continues with the other station rebuilding.
