Rush hour view south over the trainshed roofs from one of the interestingly shaped rooms at the rear of the Grand Central Hotel. Platforms 1-10 are underneath the left section of the roof and platforms 11-15 are below on the right. The distant sound of engines and announcements is all that gives away all the activity at platform level.
