Borwick

Hauling its first train in over fifty years Merchant Navy 35018 British India Line undertook a loaded test run from Carnforth on 6th July 2017. The ex-Barry 4-6-2 is seen passing Borwick but was 50 minutes late and only managing around 15mph on the climb. Perhaps it was just a dirty fire because after Hellifield it steadily gained time round the circuit and was nearly three hours early back in Carnforth.
