Leeming Bar

Built at Swindon in 1961 as D2144, this 0-6-0DM spent several years based at Landore, where it became one of a number of the class to receive modified cabs to comply with the restricted loading gauge on the Burry Port and Gwendraeth Valley line up to Cwm Mawr colliery see image 54535. Later renumbered 03144, the locomotive is now preserved on the Wenslydale Railway, where it was photographed in the summer of 2012.
