Hunmanby

After leaving the two platform Hunmanby Station and running over the level crossing at the platform end, trains heading for Bridlington cross over via twin points onto the northbound track, which then continues as a single track to the resort. As can be seen in this April '17 view there is a substantial length of track, albeit partly overgrown, remaining in situ beyond the southbound line points that form part of the crossover. Is this retained as an engineers siding?
