Prestonpans
ScotRail 322485 arrives at Prestonpans on 29 January 2003 with an Edinburgh - North Berwick service. The excavation and construction activity in the left background is in connection with the Dolphingstone deviation of the ECML. This major engineering project became necessary in order to avoid areas of actual and potential subsidence resulting from old mine workings in the area. See image 44817
