Blackburn King Street Depot
Galligreaves St bridge, on the short Blackburn King St spur, has been rebuilt as part of the construction of the new Northern DMU depot. Latterly the location of Blackburn Coal Concentration Depot See image 21404 King St has been closed for many years but will soon see a brand new servicing depot for the new Class 195 trains that are on order. This view looks east and the depot will be on the left with the bridge carrying the link to the main line near Blackburn station. [Ref query 985]
