Glenlochy Crossing

This footbridge was the approach to the signal box and loop at Glenlochy Crossing (a former loop between Dalmally and Tyndrum). This was one of the crossings added to the C&O to increase capacity. The bridge remains today, but heavily secured to dissuade walkers. This was the starting point of the climb to Beinn Laoigh until the access was blocked. The bridge crosses the River Lochy. The railway is behind the camera.
