Portobello Junction
Due to track lowering in Haymarket Tunnel prior to eletrification, West Coast trains were diverted around the South Sub. Here a Waverley to Birmingham train had left the East Coast Main line at Portobello East Junction and is about take the right hand track to gain the (poorly maintained) Up and Down Suburban. The bridge is OB1 Sir Harry Lauder Road.
