One for April 1st.. the Garw Valley Railway at Pontycymer is privileged to own the only surviving prototype of the GWR 'belly tank' locomotive, which was intended to increase stability on sharply curved Valley lines, on the principle that water is heavier than steam, so you might as well keep it down the bottom, like.
