Loco-hauled train arriving at a suburban platform on left of photo. Note the semaphore signals beyond the platform roofs. Standard gauge trains including the India-Pacific also left from this station, then called Perth Terminal, for Kalgoorlie etc see image 57917. The whole scene has changed since that time with electrification in 1990 and new offices built above the tracks. Westrail is now called Transperth.
