Heiton Siding

View east along a lovely countryside footpath, the former double track line to Kelso. The line was singled in 1933 with the westbound track being lifted between Kelso Junction and Kelso. Loops were retained at Maxton and Roxburgh Junction. At Heiton Siding the westbound, rather than eastbound, line was retained to give access to the siding.
