Shotts
The 1019 to Glasgow Central arrives at Shotts on an overcast day in August 2016. Despite the absence in this view of any obvious signs of the pre-electrification work, preparations are well in hand. Behind the camera at the end of platform one there is now a sizeable contractor's compound with an access point for the bridge replacement work.
