Oxbridge, eat your heart out!
A small part of the cycle park, complete with trees and hedges, outside the station. The park designer states that there are 7,500 spaces but as there are many hundreds of bikes parked outwith the racks I would estimate there are in the order of 8,000 to 9,000 bicycles here on a bad day and maybe 10,000 on a good day! That would probably make Uppsala Central the biggest outdoor cycle park at a railway station in the world and second only to Utrecht for any station cycle park. see image 56284
