Wigan North Western

Exterior of Wigan North Western seen on 30/06/2016. The building is of 1972 vintage and shows all the architectural flair of that era. It is so close to Wigan Wallgate they could almost be the same station. The lay passenger may wonder why they are not, or why this station is called 'North Western' despite not being in the north west of Wigan. Tragically people like us know why.
