Cape Town
There is no shame in admitting that you can't quite stretch to £1000 for a single ticket from Cape Town to Johannesburg or vice versa in the Blue Train. But if you don't need a double bed to sleep on, and a private bathroom with bath, a similar level of luxury can be obtained in Premiere Class. The Lounge Car (no jeans allowed) is seen shortly after leaving Cape Town on 4th November 2005.
