Carlisle

Although I had seen Royal Scot many years ago during its sojourn at Bressingham, I had completely forgotten about the amount of brasswork which it carries in addition to its nameplates. The two plates commemorate its trip to North America in 1933, prior to rebuilding, although they fail to mention that the true identity of the loco was No. 6152 The King's Dragoon Guardsman! Photographed at Carlisle on 16th April 2016 while working The Scot Commemorative tour from Crewe.
