Christon Bank
Looking west towards the level crossing over the ECML. The grassy verge was the course of a 2'9' gauge tramway to Embleton Quarry, a mile and a half away, which entered Christon Bank goods yard just beyond the road junction, to the left. It operated from about 1895 to 1941.
