Tirclau Level Crossing

Cwm Mawr in September of 2002 looking north to the terminus from the level crossing. The line closed to goods in 1996. There are plans to preserve the line and much of the track remains between Kidwelly and Cwm Mawr, albeit very overgrown. Some level crossings have been rebuilt with the track either buried under tarmac or lifted. The sign seen in Andrew Saunders' photograph still exists, just off to the right of this view.
