Darnick Siding

Darnick looking to Edinburgh showing the remains of a bridge over Lye Road and looking towards the site of the sidings.

Much of the trackbed between Tweedbank and Ravenswood Junction appears, at first sight, to now be occupied by the A6091, and indeed some is. However the trackbed exists for much of the length on the north side of the road. The trackbed, sometimes landscaped, is in use as a footpath.

The site of the Darnick sidings is now occupied by two houses and the route of the line continues through 'Shunters Wud', and then as a footpath, to Tweedbank station.
