Edinburgh Waverley
Track lifting underway on the north side of Waverley in January 2006 in preparation for work on the new Balmoral platform. View from a Saturday morning City Tours bus parked on Waverley Bridge (the tour guide was between trips and kindly invited me to use his open top deck for the photograph - having obviously become more and more concerned at my failed attempts to find a foothold on the wall). View is over the west end of platform 19 towards The Mound tunnel.
