Leyland
55022 Royal Scots Grey hauls the Deltic Pioneer railtour through Leyland on 7th October 1979. The tour was a circular from Manchester Victoria to Carlisle and Newcastle via the WCML, Tyne Valley and ECML routes. At this time the former D9000 was still in regular BR service and 36 years later is still main line certified in preservation.
