Looking out from the buffer stops along bay platforms 2 & 3 at Dundee on 25 September 1981, with some non-standard arrangements in place. On the left 47119 is standing in for the usual type 2 locomotive on a train to Glasgow Queen Street, while on the right railcar SC55007 has been substituted for the leading unit of a class 101 DMU on a service from Edinburgh Waverley. The upper section of Dundee West signal box can be seen in the background.
